Azealia Banks unleashes ‘Slay-Z’ mixtape featuring Rick Ross, Nina Sky and Kaytranada
Azealia Banks has a love-hate relationship with Twitter. Much like Kanye, her opinions on social media have been known to provoke plenty of controversy, and her music gets an unfair reputation as a result. Last night was definitely a good instance of Azealia on Twitter, though, as she returned from a self-imposed hiatus to give us her eight-track mixtape Slay-Z out of nowhere – just as she did with the much-delayed debut album Broke With Expensive Taste – along with some…revealing artwork (the above is the family-friendly version).
Honestly guys, someone started leaking Slay-Z and i wanted it to come from my hand. don’t be so hard on me. an iTunes link is coming.

As well as single ‘The Big Beat’, which has a video on its way very soon, there includes a Kaytranada production (‘Along The Coast’), features from Rick Ross (‘Big Talk’, a remix of ‘Ice Princess’) and Nina Sky (‘Riot’) as well as a vocal of Benga & Coki’s dubstep classic ‘Night’ called ‘Can’t Do It Like Me’, which Banks originally wrote for Rihanna.
