Following the success of last year’s BADKID mixtape, Bakar is pushing his sound to new levels with his new EP, Will You Be My Yellow?

Having consciously made the decision to go beyond his usual musical circles with the new release, he’s worked with the likes of BadBadNotGood‘s Matty for ‘Ghosts’ and Beach Noise for previous single ‘Hell N Back’.

The soulful six track collection also included ‘Stop Selling Her Drugs’ a collaboration with rising Florida artist Dominic Fike, who shares a similarly boundless outlook on music making.

“Me and Dom spent time whilst I was in America, and the connection was there right away just on a human level,” Bakar reflects. “We worked on a couple things at his house and when i got back to London ‘Stop Selling’ was the first thing I sent him. He bodied it. Feels right that Dom is the first ever feature on a Bakar record. That’s my guy.”
