Over the past year Palestinian-born, Ottawa-raised rapper Belly has been raising awareness around immigration in America, releasing a run of “immigrant” t-shirts to raise money for the American Civil Liberties Union and the International Rescue Committee to defend the rights of refugee families around the world.

While the XO affiliate has been gearing up to release an album entitled Midnight Zone, since last year’s Mumble Rap, it’s unsurprising that he’d instead use his latest album as an opportunity to speak further about his cause, dropping a new 11 track LP entitled Immigrant.

It’s unclear as to whether this is an entirely new album, and Midnight Zone is still on the way, or whether this is just a retitling of the music that he was already working on. Either way, fans of the rapper will be pleased with another addition to his impressively consistent discography. Immigrant boasts features from The Weeknd, Meek Mill, French Montana, M.I.A., NAV, Yo Gotti, Metro Boomin and Zack.
