Irah shows his yardman style in ‘Lyrical Weapon’ video

Brixton MC Irah has had a number of viral moments in the last year or so – firstly, roasting political guests on Sam Delaney’s Russia Today show, and recently with his refix videos – but his ability to shell off on mic is no joke.

This summer he brought his yardman style to a Terror Danjah production for the single ‘Lyrical Weapon’, released on the grime legend’s Hardrive label, and now SBTV has released visuals featuring Irah in his own kung-fu mini-movie.

Original Dodger link up with Shakka for ‘Find Space’

Original Dodger, the new alias of the original duo behind the Artful Dodger name at the turn of the millennium, have followed up their comeback single ‘Millionaire‘ with a Shakka collaboration. The West London singer takes centre stage for their new single ‘Find Space’, which will be taken from their previously-reported album Soundtrack, although no further news on a release date for that project has arrived since the initial comeback announcement earlier this year. Here’s hoping 2018 brings plenty more from this pair.

PK guests on Mad About Bars

Season three of Mixtape Madness & Kenny Allstar’s freestyle series Mad About Bars is well underway, and their latest guest is YGG’s Bad Hombré PK. His appearance marks the first ever grime freestyle on Mad About Bars since C Cane and Kannan in season one – Izzie Gibbs and Tizzy Gang pair Merky Ace & Tre Mission guested on series two, bringing flows more familiar with the format – and he reps the sound well. Hopefully there’s more to come.

In other YGG news, the trio recently visited Snoochie Shy on Radar Radio in promotion of their new project World Domination. They took on the show’s enjoyable Bleep Test segment, with each MC having to take on a range of BPMs. Click here to watch.

Yizzy has words for the scene on ‘Radio Danger’

Yizzy has released a video for his new single ‘Radio Danger’ ahead of the weekend, a track in which he shows his displeasure with the grime scene at large and some of the platforms that claim to support it, over a Terror Danjah & Swifta Beater co-production. The hat fits plenty, so it’s interesting to see who will choose to wear it and respond.

Premiere: Shapes & Milli Major joined by Majestic, Grim Sickers & Example for ‘Pogo Stick’ Remix

Back in September, Kent production duo Shapes released their bassy single ‘Pogo Stick’, featuring vocals from Bloodline’s own Milli Major. It’s the latest successful venture outside grime by Milli, who has worked with Jaguar Skills on numerous occasions in the last year or so, most notably with ‘Reload That‘.

This weekend arrives an official MC Remix for ‘Pogo Stick’, in which Milli Major is joined by Majestic, making an increasingly rare on-mic appearance, Grim Sickers and Example, who of course was on the ‘Reload That’ remix alongside Major. Ahead of its drop on Friday (8 December), RWD have the online exclusive for the ‘Pogo Stick Remix’ to enjoy in the meantime thanks to Four40 Records. Take it in below…

After linking up for the remix of ‘The Way Life Goes’, Lil Uzi Vert and Nicki Minaj are back with an accompanying video.

The Manor visit Conducta on Radar Radio, announce next headline show

UKG Prince Conducta celebrated the release of his single ‘Wanna Go‘ with a special edition of his Radar Radio show, featuring guest mixes from Wookie and Toddla T, as well as a garage mix from the producer himself with The Manor. Watch footage of the South London trio’s appearance in the above video. For the full show, click here. Manor boys Danny Graft, Jonny Dutch & Scotty Stacks also freestyled on Harriet Rose’s FUBAR Radio show, taking on ‘Bound 4 Da Reload’, and you can watch that by clicking here.

The Manor recently released their new single ‘The Sesh‘, which like Conducta’s release is an ode to those that don’t want their night to end. They’ve also since announced their next headline show, taking over Kentish Town Forum on Saturday 7 April. Tickets go on sale this Thursday (7 December), and given their sold out shows at Koko and Electric Brixton, you’ll want to grab your tickets as soon as possible.
