West London MC GHSTLY XXVII is next up to release new music via Flowdan’s Spentshell label, following the debut EP from PK last month (read more about the label from Flowdan on RWD next week). The Guerrilla Tactics EP features four new GHS tracks, including production from the likes of J Beatz and features from Riko Dan and PK. The release was marked with a music video dropping for the EP’s opening track, ‘Kill Confirmed’, via GRM Daily.
A week or so after launching Rinse’s new Grime Show rotation with guest Flowdan, Grandmixxer‘s reveals the next release of his productions forthcoming on his South London Space Agency label. Sussex MC Stogey has dropped another visual from his recently released EP A Matter Of Time, this time for his self-produced track ‘Leave Man’, which features a guest verse from Fumin. In the video, which went on SBTV, they & D.Power take a trip to Amsterdam after they get sick of waiting for the loud after a studio session.
Cadell has released a video for ‘Create A Career’, one of the tracks on his impressive L.O.N.D.O.N. album. The Johnny East production was also used on Reece West’s guest-filled Gunners tribute ‘Arsene Wenger‘.
The second week of Rinse FM’s new DJ rotation for The Grime Show saw A.G take the helm, and her live studio guest was Nico Lindsay. As with the inaugural week, when Flowdan joined Grandmixxer, Rinse has put up video highlights of the set. Spooky is next up this Sunday (18 March).
The Grime Show has taken a hiatus on Rinse FM since Sir Spyro’s departure to 1Xtra, with the likes of Jampak and Grime Originals holding Rinse’s grimy listeners down at other stages of the week. Finally, though, The Grime Show is back, with a bumper DJ lineup rotating each week. Grandmixxer, A.G, Spooky and Logan Sama will take turns (in that order) to front the show every Sunday, and Grandmixxer’s launch show saw him alongside the legendary Flowdan. Capo Lee has released a video for ‘Style & Swag’, the second visual from his recent EP, Capo The Champ. This track is produced by his frequent collaborator Sir Spyro, who was behind the boards for the entirety of Capo’s last project in Stop Talk. Sonny Jake directs the ‘Style & Swag’ video, with an orange-clad Capo shining in a world of black and white.
