With festival season now in full swing, this weekend sees Splash Festival returning to Ferropolis, Germany from Thursday 11th until Saturday 13th July.

This year’s headliners include Chance The Rapper, Young Thug and Future, along with performances from a broad range of acts including Skepta, Brockhampton, Gunna, Lil Baby, Trippie Redd, Little Simz, Saba, Buddy, Jay Rock, J.I.D, Joey Purp, Murkage Dave, Places + Faces, Sheck Wes, Yxng Bane, YBN Cordae, Rich The Kid, Flatbush Zombies, Juice World, Saint JHN, Saweetie, Scarlxrd, $uicideboy$ and more.

(A$AP Rocky was also confirmed, although with him currently being detained in Sweden, it’s not yet clear whether he’ll be being replaced on the line-up.)

One of Europe’s most respected rap-centric festivals, Splash takes place an hour south of Berlin, in Ferropolis an open air museum of industrial relics on the peninsula of the Gremmin Lake, allowing for fans to wander a short distance from the madness of the main event to see awe-inspiring views and chill out.

Having originally launched back in 1998 as an indoor event, Splash has built its reputation as one of the key festivals in Europe’s hip-hop calendar, as well as providing a platform for Germany’s thriving rap scene, it’s previously hosted shows from iconic artists like J. Cole, Tyler The Creator, Lil Yachty, Kano and Gucci Mane.
