While Drake has been shouting out UK artists for a long time now he’s never embraced his love of UK culture on record as much as he did with More Life.

Since its release on Saturday the Internets have been rife with jokes about his American listeners pondering “Waist Men” and looking up Giggs‘ discography.

While the jokes are all good, statistics show huge boosts in listenership for some of the UK talent on October Firm’s new playlist. The BBC reports that all 22 tracks dominate the top positions in the US Spotify chart, with streaming activity for Giggs – who appears twice – having increased by 146%. Activity around Skepta has also increased 21%, and Jorja Smith by 12%.

Interestingly Sampha, who has already appeared on tracks with Drake, as well as Kanye West and Solange, didn’t see any change in his well established US streaming audience.
