Hold Dat new Big Zuu EP

It’s a relief that Big Zuu has realised that two years is far too long a period between projects. Granted, the wait between 2015’s Big Who?  and the recent self-titled EP meant the latter was met with nitty-like anticipation among grime fans, but Zuu can only look at the ascent of his MTP brother AJ Tracey, who regularly puts out projects every few months and tours them, to see the value of getting his (very good!) music out there.

Today, Zuu released a new four-track EP by the name of Hold Dat, that we are delighted to get a hold of and enjoy for the foreseeable future even if we’re still enjoying plenty of its predecessor. The EP features production from Tre Mission, Lolingo, Splurt Diablo (the alias of Merky Ace, who also has a vocal feature on said track), JG and Nyge.

There’s enough time to learn these bars before Zuu’s headline show at Oslo, Hackney on Wednesday 24 January. Click here for tickets.
