With a couple of months to go until the release of her debut album Love & Compromise, Mahalia returns with a visual for her Burna Boy-assisted ‘Simmer’.

The grainy visual shot by KC Locke depicts the Leicester singer glowing with confidence, as she asks a potential lover to slows things down and take time with her, and Burna Boy offers up a male perspective.

The Felix Joseph and Jonah Christian-produced track is built around Jeffrey Harding‘s legendary ‘Playground Riddim’, best known from Beanie Man‘s 1997 classic ‘Who Am I (Sim Simma)’.
