While fans await Max B‘s Negro Spirituals project, the incarcerated Wave God has teamed up with French Montana to unleash a brand new instalment of their iconic 2009 mixtape series Coke Wave 4.

Entirely produced by Paul Couture, Max B told Rolling Stone that the nine track collection is “the equivalent of Kawhi Leonard going to Toronto, winning that championship in one year, and now he’s a super free agent and he can do whatever he wants, make any decisions he wants. It shows I can collaborate with other artists of stature and still hold my own. Anybody I f**k with, I’m gonna sound buttery.”

As with the original two instalments – despite the title, there never was a third – the tape is built around some pretty impressive sample flips, and will therefore be unlikely to appear on streaming services anytime soon. Instead you can stream Coke Wave 4 via DatPiff or AudioMack below, or grab a free download here.
