Max B & French Montana return to their iconic mixtape series with ‘Coke Wave 4’

While fans await Max B‘s Negro Spirituals project, the incarcerated Wave God has teamed up with French Montana to unleash a brand new instalment of their iconic 2009 mixtape series Coke Wave 4.

Entirely produced by Paul Couture, Max B told Rolling Stone that the nine track collection is “the equivalent of Kawhi Leonard going to Toronto, winning that championship in one year, and now he’s a super free agent and he can do whatever he wants, make any decisions he wants. It shows I can collaborate with other artists of stature and still hold my own. Anybody I f**k with, I’m gonna sound buttery.”

As with the original two instalments – despite the title, there never was a third – the tape is built around some pretty impressive sample flips, and will therefore be unlikely to appear on streaming services anytime soon.
