Nokia’s first attempt at a ‘Phabelt’ is definitely an interesting hybrid…

The Nokia Lumia 1520 is the companies first attempt at the middle ground between phone and tablet, the so called ‘Phablet’.

With attempts at the Phablet from the likes of Samsung and HTC, both on the Android operating system, it was only a matter of time until the Windows platorm catered for the market.

The Lumia 1520 is packed with features like PureView camera technology, a 20 megapixel camera with an array of features for enthusiasts to play with, an advanced slideshow feature called Storyteller and much more. Nokia are very much using the camera as a strong selling point.

Nokia has managed to squeeze in 32GBs of storage, as well as a microSD slot for storage expansion.

The Lumia also comes with a non-removable battery that claims to offer approximately 11 hours of video playback.

With a 6-inch screen and a thickness of 8.6mm, the Lumia is both big and beautiful, and may give its rivals a run for their money.

Stay tuned for official launch dates and prices.
