PUMA have gone all sporting heritage on us, bringing a modern fashion twist to retro collections whilst hooking the gear up with premium materials, new design elements and unexpected influences.

For SS’14, PUMA is looking at Brasil through the lens of fashion and design; the ways that Brasilian culture is inspired by music, craft and of course football. This season’s theme encapsulates all of these influences.

To bring the collections to life PUMA enlisted leading UK lifestyle blog and long standing supporters The Daily Street.

Despite the PUMA’s seasonal offer being clearly segmented into a selection of distinct categories the creative team behind the lookbook have ensured a coherent feel throughout. Whether dealing with the metallic’s that recur throughout PUMA’s opulent product, the brand’s print heavy tropicalia collection or its iconic footwear reissues such as the Brasil or 90’s Trinomic running silhouettes The Daily Street have created a distinct aesthetic that nods to the brands storied past yet sees the brand looking as relevant as ever.
