PUMA reveal new and improved evoPOWER 1.2 Boots
Boots to be premiered by Cesc Fabregas and Mario Balotelli in tonight's Capital One Cup tie...
PUMA have introduced their brand new evoPOWER 1.2 firm ground football boots today, which will be available in stores in the coming weeks.
The boots will be worn tonight at Anfield in the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Chelsea, with Mario Balotelli and Cesc Fabregas each donning an evoPOWER 1.2 pair for their respective sides. Designed to improve both power and accuracy, each player’s style of play should be benefitted.
The combination of the light Adaptlite material on the upper and GSF technology on the outsole is to help closely resemble the power made by a barefoot kick, which should work to Balotelli’s shooting strengths. The GripTex print on the upper and AccuFoam lining aids a clean contact of the ball to ensure accuracy in both passing and shooting, which is music to the ears of a creative midfielder such as Fabregas.
The versatility of the new evoPOWER 1.2 boots are demonstrated by both players in a new PUMA advertisement out today, which also features a cameo from World Cup winner and Premier League legend Thierry Henry.
The evoPOWER 1.2 FGs will be available in stores from 2 February, along with new a collection of colour-aligned PUMA training apparel and accessories.
