Tastemaker, DJ, promoter and human, Ralph Hardy gave us an incredible compilation of new UK music last year to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of his NANG club nights, and today he’s back with a sequel that (for once) is even better than the original.

Growing Pains 2 is another essential volume that demonstrates diversity and creativity in the UK music scene. Across 24 tracks, Hardy highlights an alternative side to our hip-hop, R&B and grime scenes with music from the likes of Nadia Rose, Jay Prince, Skepta, Ghetts, Kwollem, Tania Nwachukwu, Bobii Lewis, Ryan De La Cruz, Mez, Hudson East, AJ Tracey, Capo Lee and more.

“I don’t want people growing up thinking trap music or the bait commercial music is all we have to offer,” Ralph told The Fader. “There’s an underground, that could very well be the mainstream.”
