RWD’s First Ever TV Advert Featuring Raheem Sterling and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

RWD produced TV advert for sports/ tech company StatSports airs during Sky Sports Super Sunday

For the first time in RWD’s illustrious 18-year history, the magazine turned agency¬†produced an advert for television. Aired during a history making Sky Sports Super Sunday in which Liverpool strengthened their grip atop the Premier League with a 3-1 victory over their closest rivals Manchester City.

The advert (produced for StatSports – an incredible and storied sports training aide/ tech company), features England stars Raheem Sterling and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who are also major investors in the StatSports brand.

Apex Athlete Series is a GPS performance tracker, worn between the shoulder blades in a performance vest, that monitors your physical data via smartphone app.

Individual athletes can track stats like your max speed, total distance, high-speed running distance, fatigue score, and even see their activity heat map. Its FIFA-approved accreditation means you can now wear it during official games, too.

Sterling and Oxlade-Chamberlain have been using these performance-tracking units all their professional careers and currently use the elite team trackers at Manchester City and Liverpool, respectively.
