Newcomer Serine Karthage is looking to make a mark on the end of 2018 while setting herself up as one to watch for next year, and today drops her debut single ‘Ruler’.

Growing up around a mix of traditional Tunisian culture and the multi-cultural surroundings of areas like Harrow Road, her music reflects UK life with global ambition.

‘Ruler’ – written during a period of homelessness and produced by Ry Tunes – is the perfect introduction to this unfiltered aspiration, as she repeats a self-motivating personal mantra, as if daring anyone to say otherwise.

Its accompanying video, directed by Amber Felix, Karat K and Serine herself, can be viewed above, and the single – released via Since ’93 – is available on all streaming platforms now.
