Following up heavyweight production credits for Fredo & Young T and Bugsey‘s ‘Ay Carumba’ and Wiley‘s new star-studded ‘Boasty’ with Idris Alba, Stefflon Don and Sean Paul, Steel City’s Toddla T is back with a new single of his own.

‘Instruction’ sees him joining forces with Alicai Harley for a high energy dancehall-influenced single complete with an electrifying accompanying visual.

“The first time I met Alicai she turned up at my studio to make the record with a bottle of champagne for my birthday!” Toddla recalls of their first meeting. “We had a lot of fun and I think you can hear that in the tune.”

“Instruction is a track that I definitely enjoyed making as it takes me back to growing up in Jamaica and singing along to old folks songs with my cousins,” says Alicai. “Working with Toddla on this one was just pure fun and vibes and I hope the listeners can feel that same energy.”

Check out the video above, and go behind the scenes below with some exclusive imagery shot by Andy Nicholson and captioned by Toddla himself.
