West London singer and songwriter, Rukhsana Merrise has been slowly bubbling over the year with a string of solo singles as well as an appearance on GhettsGhetto Gospel: The New Testament album.

Before the year draws to an end, she’s sharing the first half of her two part debut album Child O’ Today. The six track Child boasts previously released singles ‘Could’ve Been’ and ‘Sober’, and will be followed by six more tracks in the new year.

“My album was created in the midst of my growing and self discovering,” says Rukhsana of the LP. “It’s a true reflection of where I once was and currently reside. A lot of people talk about the before and after and miss the pinnacle stage of overcoming… Child O’ Today is exactly that.”
