Yxng Bane has already established himself as a heavy-hitter with a string of singles, live shows and a collaborative tape with D-Block Europe. But now the East Londoner is taking things to the next level with his anticipated new solo mixtape HBK.

The tape showcases Yxng Bane‘s ability to switch between bars and melodies, proving his rap pedigree while simultaneously crafting addictive pop songs that have been instrumental to his success.

HBK isn’t overcrowded with features either, with Bane handling the majority of tracks alone – Eyelar joins for ‘Breakfast (Interlude)’ and ‘Late Night’ features Kojo Funds and DJ Tunez.

Alongside the mixtape Bane released, HBK The Prequel, a 20 minute short film directed by Esrael Alem which depicts a day in the life of five young men from Canning Town – starring Yxng Bane, Samuel Kyi, Senesie “Essk Songz” Koroma, Gerome Miller, Malachi Latchman and Emma Cargill – and incorporates music from the project.
